Renegade Hosting a Renegade LARP Event
Hosting a Renegade LARP Event is relatively simple as the Renegade Community need only an excuse to dress up and play their character. If people want to camp at the site; they can. If they only want to attend for the day and then head home; they can. The main condition imposed by Renegade Team Building is that the cost of attending the event is as low as possible so that players can attend many events without blowing their LARP budget.
Those who wish to Host a Renegade LARP Event can choose a theme from the Renegade LARP Calendar; shown above; that suits them such as: Geopolitical, Tactical, Racial, Guild, Elemental and Godly Events. While it is impossible to avoid clashes with other major LARP or non LARP events, it is possible to use the Renegade Calendar to prevent booking clashes between Renegade Licensee.
The Renegade Team Building Calendar indicates the priority Host(s) for any given weekend or week throughout the year. If there are no Priority Hosts willing to host an event on one of these dates, another alternative theme Event can be hosted by other Licensees; including Player Character Licensees.
Racial Event Priority Hosts are Licensee with Master Rank in the primary Racial Skills; who will also be responsible for ensuring that attendees meet the minimum CCC for the specified Race.
Elemental Event Priority Hosts are Licensee Shaman of the specific Element. If no Elemental Shaman is willing to host, any Elementalist of the specified Element may host the event.
Guild Event Priority Hosts are Licensee Guild Grand Masters. If no Guild Grand Masters are willing to host a Guild Event, Masters may host the event.
Lord & Baron Quarterly Event Hosts are Licensee Counts, Barons & Lords. If no Lord, Baron or Count is willing to host a Lord & Baron Quarterly Event, Game Provider Licensees may Host the Quarterly Event. If no GPL are willing to host a Lord & Baron Quarterly Event, any Licensee Players can host the Quarterly Event.
For Players who wish to engage in OOC Geopolitical Moves, they will need to consider the Renegade LARP events that their Character will be unable to attend during the same time.
eg. Player Character / High Priest Licensee Frank; Elven High Priest of Love wishes to Host...
Wood Elf Event on the 1st Weekend of January. Three other players with Wood Elves wish to Host the event as well. Each host sends OOC invitations to attend a Weekday Freeform event where they are IC invited to attend the two day event. 20 Players accept the invitations IC/OOC to attend the event. Each player prepays $22 to the hosts be included in the Host's storyline for the event. The hosts invite an experienced GPL to write some optional content for the attendees and the GPL will charge the Players separately if they wish to participate in their mission content. If the event is successful Frank wants to Host the God of Love Event on the 4th Weekend of February.
